Index-Books.com is an online store selling a great range of books and gifts. Our products are offered with massive discounts - typically between 50% and 80% off normal jacket prices. Our huge buying power allows us to do this.

The multi-coloured category buttons on the left list our products, click these to explore our range, or use the search feature to find a specific item.

Your shopping basket is located on the top left of the page, as you add items to your basket you will see them appear in the basket area.

Payment Options & VAT
We accept orders placed on the website using card payment. Our card processing services are provided by SECPay

You can switch the currency between UK Pounds Sterling or Euros by clicking on the flag icons in the basket.

All prices listed on this website are inclusive of VAT.

Your Index Books Account

Creating a user account
Creating an account with us is a simple and quick process, and must be done to allow you to make purchases from this website. You will need to fill in an online form to provide us with your personal details, including:

Full name
Address
Telephone number
email address

You will also be asked to choose a password. When you are asked to log into the site in the future you will be asked to enter the email address and password as authentication.

Forgotten Your Password?
If you can't remember your password to access your account, don't worry!

We can grant you access by generating a new password and emailing this to you. To do this now visit the Forgotten Password page.

If you have forgotton the email address you use to access the account, we recommend you register with us again.

Logging Off
If you use a shared or public computer to shop with us, you should log off when you've finished to prevent other users from accessing your account. You can find the log off link on the top right of the page, under the Index logo. If you are already logged off, this link will not be visible.

Editing Your Account Details
Changing or updating any of the personal details you have registered is a simple process. Log in to your account and click 'change these details'. Please remember if you change the email address and/or password, this will change the details you use to log into the website next time.

Dispatch & Delivery

Our Delivery Service
The time and method for delivery will be at our discretion. The place of delivery will be the Premises. Time for delivery shall not be of the essence.

If you do not take delivery of the Products or give us adequate delivery instructions then we may store the Products until actual delivery and charge you for the reasonable costs (including insurance) of storage.

If the Products delivered to you do not include all of the Products that you ordered in any particular order or include incorrect Products, you must inform us in writing within 14 working days from the date of delivery. If you do not, we will not be responsible for any loss or damage suffered by you as a result. In any event, our liability is limited to the price of the Products not delivered or the cost of replacing such Products.

Delivery Rates
We calculate the cost to deliver your order by adding 2 values together:
* Each shopping basket is subject to a £2.50 standard charge.
* We then add 50p for each item in the basket.

If the total pre-delivery cost of the items you purchase is £25 or more, then delivery is free of charge. Currently we can only ship within the UK and Ireland.

Returns & Refunds

Return an Item
If, on receipt of your order, you are unhappy with any Product you have purchased on this Website for any reason, you may return it to us in its original condition within 14 working days and we will provide a full refund. If the reason for the return is the result of our error, or if the item was damaged before it reached you, please notify our customer services department and we will also refund the postage costs.
