What kind of people are independent Distributors?
People from all walks of life find success in this industry. Let's start by dispelling the myth that you have to be a great sales-person. Not true! There is very little selling involved; you simply let the products sell themselves!
Your personality and smile is all you need to brighten a customer's day. The most successful Distributors we meet all approach their business in an organised and methodical way. Add your enthusiasm, hard work and determination and you will be on your way to a unique success that is all your own!
Selling books and other related items can be a rewarding career for most people. I have been doing this for the last fourteen years and not once have I thought about changing what I do. You get out of the job what you put in - in other words, if you stay in bed all day, you just don't earn a bean!
If you do what I have been doing, you will get up early, get your vehicle ready, make sure that your day's calls are ready and get out of the house. WHY? I am the BOSS and what I say goes in my agency. I have the back up of a large organisation that really help me if I need help - they deliver the stock right to my door.
The stock is always good and is really well received by my customers; sorry, I mean friends because that is what they are now. The look on their faces is wonderful when I turn up in their office, school, surgery or wherever and they see something in my range that they have been looking for. The prices are great and, in many cases, less than half price for brand new stock.
I have the satisfaction of helping my customer to achieve the purchase in their own time and they don't even have to leave their office! I can even buy some products from head office at greatly reduced prices and sell them at a profit and keep all the proceeds. There must be a catch though; well there is only one - if you don't put the work in, you don't get the rewards out.
So what do I get out of it? I am my own BOSS. I am supplied product by one of the biggest names in the industry; I get a good rate of commission; I can buy products additional products to sell and keep the proceeds; and, on top of all that, I can get a good bonus!Well, what are YOU waiting for??!!

I started my distribution business supplied by Index in May 2006 and immediately received excellent guidance and support from my Field Sales Manager and Field Sales Director - two very committed people.
I was impressed with the product's quality and soon discovered that customers felt the same and the facility to have regular stock top-ups from my supplier was, and is, still very helpful in the efficient management of my stock holding.
